420a cam question

Some of u may call me stupid but i was looking on howell automotive for some cams and i noticed in the picture that the cams had 3 lobes on them (2 thin ones on each side of a wide lobe) sorta like the honda vtech motors. I was wondering if the 420a had any sort of v tech system because i know that is all vtech is.

The extra lobe you think you are seeing is the bearing journal the cam has to ride on. I have my complete 420A tore completely down right now. I can deffiniatly see where looking at a picture could be deceiving. There are only two lobes per cam per cylinder. Hope this helps.
