Have you ever done a PERFECT 1st to 2nd shift?

I only did it once PERFECTLY its really hard but if you do it right when I hit 2nd I got that feeling of wanting to puke it felt really cool and I'll probly never be able to hit it like that again.

what exactly do you mean. i get some pretty good ones where i peel out and get a huge jump on whoever im racing. 2nd gear is my ace, so much stronger than my first

Usually I do a second gear ERR if you hit it at high rpms but this one time it didn't do the ERR (slight peel out) it was just really smooth it felt like when your going over the top of a roller coaster when you start to go fast.

With a 5500 no lift to shift mod on my ecu, 1-2 is always smooth as glass with a little chirp also. Cant say I remember the 1-2 shift before but now it is always the same.

I think that a lot of the time i can do a good shift without barking the tires b/c i have tried my hardest to bark the hell out of them but all i get is a weak little squeek.

haha well thats better than when you get the wheel hop or sliding on the shift, where you can feel the wheels spinning but you only get this sick sliding sound, no chirp

I just wish I could explain it better...I shifted right at redline and it was beautiful but it just wont do it again....even the girl I was with was like WTF WAS THAT MY ####IES WET...I was like thats right baby.

i wish all girls were like that, but they dont seem to like cars as much as they do in the movies... i wish they did tho cuz id be getting alot more... but in reality the ones im friends with really dont care about cars...

Lucky! most girls like my car, but few LOVE it. and of those, the hot ones, only one of them ive "gotten to know better" in it, if you know what i mean. the back seats are too small tho!!! but ive found that flipping a front seat back works just fine

haha see im kinda skinny, so i dont think i need to do that. this girl i was with was pretty skinny too, and we actually fit on the driverside with out even moving my seat back, just leaning it back(i have long legs so it was already pretty far back but not all the way). and even with the steering wheel in the way, we, you know.

Forget the girls, I get pissed when I see a riced out GSX. I could do so much with that machine, yet it belongs to some 17 y/o ricequeen. :thumbdown

With a hard shift at about 6500rpms I can get a little bark from the tires.

With a no lift to shift at about 6500rpms I can spin the tires going into second.

what do you guys normally shift at when pushing it? i usually shift at around 6800 rpms, but i dunno is that too high?
