edmonton,
okay boys, how do i make my automatic laser go faster??

its non turbo, and it is fairly slow. I've beat a few hatchback civics, a saturn, a few cars, but i can't take on my friends mazda 626 cronos, a family car. it is embarrassing. LOL. how do i go faster without breaking my wallet?? please help! thanks

thanks.

is it worth it to cut out my air canister and MAS, resinator, etc.
Also, i know how to put ram air into my car, tube under car connected to air filter. will that help??

Lastly, if i take out my catalitic converter, will i go faster and will it be louder ???

What most people do(including me when I had my 1G) is hack the air canister. Leave just enough canister to hold the K&N in place and to bolt it back to the car. As far as the ram-air, thats up to you. Lots of hassle for little gain. And, if you take out your cat. converter(and replace it with test pipe?) it will be louder and slightly faster.

awesome. thanks man.

will the air canaster thing give me more hp, or not, or what exactly does it do??? would the ram air thing do anything at all (hp) ??

thanks again

The air cansiter thing will basically open the filter to have more air. Instead of air being sucked into that little arm thing, it will be coming from all over. Basically... The more air filter you see, the better.

The ram-air thing will be a bit better than the air canister thing for a few reasons.. 1)Instead of getting mostly hot air from under the hood, you will get all cold air(which is better/more hp) 2) The faster you go, the more air you will get(which is better).

Like I said, if you want to go through all the hassle for maybe 2hp, then go ahead. I, personally, would just hack the air can.

thanks again

well im gonna do both. i'm gonna hack the air can, but leave a plate at the bottom of the air can. cut a hole in it, put pipe, angle it to the bottom front of the car and let the air in the filter. i think that will work, right??

thanks again
