i juts put in my a/f guage and it works great and i was curious about something when ever i let me foot off the gas or down shift and let my foot off teh gas the guage goes blank then when i get back on the gas it comes back on.. is this a normal thing ro do i need to check my connections??

i have a gap under my radio so i cut out a piece of sheet metal and threw the guage in there. plus i am about to drive down to florida in june so it gives me something to look at for 24 hours of driving

Yeah what it does is lean itself out and the o2 voltage will drop. At deceleration and off throttle you do not need much fuel (WOT you do and this is why you go rich) hence the name lean.

Many roads have what's called "scenery" outside the window. Kinda like a huge TV with a really, really slow channel changer.
