Hi,

my motor just blew up (the piston blew i think) and i was wondering how much it would cost to just rebuild it stock and how much it would cost to rebuild it with a higher compression rate and other goodies im a newb so i dont know alot about what parts i would want if you could help me out i would be greatfull thanks J

Anywhere from $1000 and up. You really dont want to rebuild it stock if you plan on doing anything to it in the future more than bolt ons. There are places where you can buy a prebuilt block for about $2000 that are ready to drop in. Of course, if you have to have someone else do the work, you can add an easy $1500 to the price imo.

Good luck and sorry about your loss man.
