i have a 1990 plymouth laser rs, and am a newbie. i would like to know what i could do to my car to get some more hp and speed. i am 18 and have limited money. i don't want a dragster just a car that is quick enough to take some of those other street racers out there!!!! i will just say thank u to anybody who replies. u can email me at [email protected] for any other advice.

but if you have the first one, it's the 4G63(same engine as the gs-t and gsx just without the turbo) so it's realtively easy to turbo it. people say that dollar for dollar, nos is the best mod, but you can only have so much nos. nos really won't get you beating that many people. i would reccomend a small turbo (like a 14b, i believe they come stock on the 5-spds and 2Gs so i dont think it would be that hard to find one used which should proove realtively inexpensive) and some other stuff (not really sure here) and you'll be straight. you should also get a 2.5" or 3" exhaust and downpipe if you go turbo and probably some sort of less restrictive intake too. thats assuming you're n/a, of course
