time for a plug and wire upgrade

with your mod list i wouldn't worry about getting "high" performance plugs. Magnecore are great wires though and a great idea. I would get just a simple set of NGK plugs i think the model number is NGK BK5E there might be an "R" in there somewhere too, i'd have to look. They are one range hotter than stock and just a good plug for about 7 bucks for 4. Gap them to .05 and forget about the iridium or platinum for now, it won't make a difference worth the extra money.

yea but i just ordered headers and im ordering the venom 400 and maybe a crank pulley all by october 12th. its import wars and i wanna have all this done by then and be in tip top shape to race. so denso iridium and magnecore wires are prob. my best bet.

not a bad setup that's exactly what i have. denso irid. plugs ($11.00 ea @ monarch products, inc. (909) 672-8501 ) part # DEN5303 - description IK16 IRIDIUM P, and magnacore 10mm race wire ( $65.00 @ optionsauto.com) item # mag-49231

Yeah if you like wasting money. All you need are NGK BKR5E-11. They will be more than satisfactory. Magnecores are good wires to get as well.
All those expensive plugs are crap.
