NT-specific Two different 240cc injectors?

Hi guys

I have a question about the Non-Turbo injectors
I have a non turbo 92 eclipse 2 liter. Since the gas prices are so high these days, i want to save some gasoline. I have 2 sets of injectors both 240 cc.
I have : INP 053 B240H and INP 059 N240H Injectors. Since this is my non turbo car, i want to spend less cash as possible on gasoline. I noticed my cylinders are getting too much gasoline, because when i step off the throttle, i hear gasoline afterburning in the headers/exhaust (small explosions). Is it the injectors i have to look at, or is there another reason?

Thank you

I'm not sure I understand what information your looking for.

Are you trying to understand why you might be getting too much fuel on deceleration?

It may have nothing to do with the injectors, the ECU has to see the Idle Position Switch close before it will cut fuel off when coasting/decelerating. The IPS is the sensor on top of the throttle body over the pulley. It grounds the ECU signal when the throttle is closed and because the gaskets that surround it also electrically insulate it, it has a ground strap that runs from on of the mounting studs on the intake manifold across the top to a screw into the throttle body.

With a volt meter, you can measure the voltage at the IPS when the throttle is open and closed. When it's closed you should see 0v and it's open around battery voltage.

While you car won't see boost, pressure testing the intake will help you identify any vacuum leaks, bad vacuum lines, seals, or gaskets.

I'm not aware of the difference between the two versions of the 240cc injectors you have. On the 450cc injectors the main difference was the pintle cap that cause the later model to make two streams of fuel.
Are the pintle caps different on yours?

Hello again

Yes Steve i'm trying to find out why my car is still getting so much fuel after i already let to of the throttle.
My injectors have a peach color on the top half. Two injectors have blue pin caps and the other two have black pin caps.

I'll try to post up a picture.

Thank you for the info Steve
