ok, im not looking for criticism or anything, just tell me if it will work... basicly i found a guy that lives near my moms house that is willing to part with a 1g turbo exhaust manifold, turbo, BOV, and smic for around $100 to me if i want it. is it at all possible to just bolt them on, buy the necesary parts to make it work right, and buy a boost gauge and have a decent running car that can only probably only handle about 6psi of boost? i figured if it can work, why not buy it all for $100

I would suggest sending a PM to Mavisky. Kyle's very good at N/T turbo conversion and should be able to let you know what's workable and what's not. However, you'd have to consider water and oil plumbing for the turbo as well as a 14B/16G install kit and that alone would run you around $200.00 or so.

Good luck!

Andy

he has a 1g 92 so he wont need a 14b/16g install kit if hews getting it off of a 1g and if you have the 4g63 2.0 engine all the hook ups for oil and water are allready there if you look for them they are all there you jus get the stock oil and water line ands its jus a bolt on turbo kit if you have the oil lineswater line exhaust maifold intercooler all the intake piping make sure you get the bov becuase not have a bov is bad for your turbo and yuou should be fine

Don't forget a turbo oil pan for the turbo oil drain tube. It's pretty much bolt on. A set of turbo cams wouldn't hurt either. I know plenty of guys that have put a stock N/A bottom end in their cars with a turbo top end and components that are running 17+ pounds of boost. All you need is a fuel controller and a logger to prevent detonation.

so how much would it cost me besides that $100 to turbocharge my car? considering i already can get the most important parts

My bad. Can't believe I missed that...

its alright dude and the oil pan you dont reallllly need too get the oil pan because i tapped my oil line int he side of the block :p but the pan would be much easier

might want a set of turbo injectors and a boost controller. you will also need a downpipe to connect to the o2 housing.
for the oil pan, i actually drilled a hole into a nt oil pan and two holes for the bolts and tapped them. so you could use your nt oil pan still.

good luck
