So... just purchased a 92 1.8 Laser, what are some free, cheap, or easy mods?

Just got a good deal on a 1.8 Plymouth Laser, and while down the road I'd like to get a 2.0 Turbo, I plan on making do with this one for now. So... ideas?

any 2.0l non turbo fwd exhaust will work (get the right year for the car) pretty much anyone that sells exhausts will have one for our cars mainly pasecetter. if u repalce exhaust i would highly recomend repalceing that old cat with a hi-flow one from ebay i paid around 40 bucks for mine and its a direct fit.
any 2.0l non turbo intake will work,you plan on going turbo in the future so i would recomend a cheep decent one from ebay with K&n filter.
a light weight crank pulley would also give you some more hp. there was a guy on ebay that was selling them brand new i would check into that.. if still want to spend more money considering u are planning to go turbo later on, you could a get a performance clutch for more grip and fidanza flywheel. the rest is getting maximium airflow, like porting and polishing. with the mods above you should have about 120-135 to the wheels depending on how many miles it has and if the engine has got the crap beat out of it... thats pretty much it without going nitrious or getting into the internals... id also recomend going to www.dsm1eights.com a site dedicated to the 1.8l 's they have some tech artcle's and performance forums for it
