Turbocharged Colt Vista possible?

I know there a turbo colts out there, but I saw a colt vista for sale. They seat 7 people, I was like wow that would be the ultimate sleeper. The utilitarian aspects of it are kind of appealing.

Anybody know how easy it is to install a 4g63 in one of these? Looks like the engine bay is kinda small compared to a dsm.

Some of them came with AWD also. So I am curious if our trannies would fit as well.

88-92 Colt Vista's came with a 4g63 already in them. So doing just a basic N/T to Turbo conversion would work or a swap would be very possible as well. In 92 they came with a 4g64 8v head motor. So you could swap a 16V head on and turbo it for some nice power as well.

yeah it can be done, i did some research on this. google 4g63t in a colt vista. i saw a picture of a fwd one with smoke under the wheels and he claimed he did 11s with 300hp
with a 4g63t. i dont know if he could be cantacted, but these cars are awesome even without a turbo. they were the allternative to a minivan.and if you want to see one in a
movie. go rent jackie chans police story in the begining you will see bad guys flying through buildings in the vista,with jackie chan hot on there tail in a starion,one thing is for sure if that vista in the movie had the 4g63t in it jackie might never have cought the bad guy cuu!

That would be the ultimate sleeper. I had a buddy with a 89' Colt that had a 4g63/AWD swap. I'm currently trying to swap a 4g63 into a Kia Sephia. I'll start a new thread when the swap begins.
