14b turbo setup

I'm just looking for some feedback on my n/t to turbo setup up. Right now im almost done getting everything.
My car is a 6 bolt 93 mt 1g

what i have:
RX7 n/t 460cc injectors
Probe SMIC
1g n/t throttle body
denso audi bov
1g n/t FPR
1g n/t maf (i want to do a Blaha hack on it)
2g fuel pump or 80s supra na fuel pump
2g exhaust manifold
14b turbo but i also have a t-25 with wastegate actuators
2g O2 housing
aftermarket boost gauge
2g mt turbo ecu noneeprom ( i want to convert the n/t eeprom to turbo)
2g turbo oil housing with cooling lines
2.5" cat and back
coolant lines
random little things


I still missing a lot of stuff but I'm almost done I still need some stuff but I looking for some suggestions and feedback about how I'm going about this :pray:
 
Ok for tuning I have a couple of thing I'm trying to use until either able to find a 1g ecu locally or willing to pay for one online.

I mentioned I had a 2g mt noneprom ecu that I'm going to using an old nt ecu's prongs to attach harness that way its just plug and play, with elimated second o2 sensor

I also have a 1g epromed n/t ecu that I'm trying to convert to turbo by soldering missing resistors where missing and changing what needs to be swapped out and also adding the knock sensor circuit. With this i m trying to burn a chip that way I don't have to add a safc. This why I can change injectors, maf or whatever else without a piggyback by just burning a new chip

I'm really not looking for the easy route dsmlink. I have datalogging software that I can use so I think I'm good
 
I would not mess with the ecu's like you say our doing. I would go ecuflash cheapest and reliable, hard to learn at first, dsmlink very user friendly a little more expensive but lots of support, or another piggyback system.
 
I looked into eculink but I'm am not sure if you can flash this ecu its from a 97 but its not one of the ones that's are mentioned, 98-99, that can be flashe. I know that all programable microcontrollers can be reprogrammed but idk.

I fairly strong in software programming so I'm not worried about difficulty. I'm just worried about using the 43 psi fuel pressure with stock ecu and pump
 
The flashable ecus are called h8 ecu and they range from 98-99 gst or gsx. They can all be flashed the same with of coarse a tactrix 2.0 cable. Ceddymods has alot of info on them. Im still learning how to tune with it im switching to sd in a few weeks. But in all very happy with it on evoscan.
 
Thats a lot of wire hacking for what you're doing. I would use a 1g turbo ecu and mas and a 1g turbo fuel pressure regulator. Blaha hack was for the bypass tube on a 1g turbo mas and it really only affected WOT. NT mas on a turbo ecu is entirely different. There is a reason they call a hack a hack. It wasn't a big deal running race gas back in the day. I wouldn't run it now, not with what is available.
 
Use the 14b, dont waste your time with the t25. Also it doesn't really matter which fpr you use. The n/t is 43.5 and the turbo is 37.5, not a big enough difference to be concerned over. Definitely switch your fuel pump to at least a stock turbo pump.

So you are saying I can flash the 97 2g turbo ecu? That would be the easiest solution? I need for information on this stuff

I have a salvage 1g n/t ecu that I am using the little white part (whatever it is called), to solder the wire harness to, its easy i have the pin-outs its just matching. the blaha hack will work for n/t. the only difference between n/t and turbo is the extra wire used for the stock boost gauge. that being said if i can't find a 2g maf by the time im going to start putting the parts on im going to hack one of my 2 n/t mafs

yea i got the t-25 first and i read up on it after then i started looking for a 14b because from what i found the t-25 is seriously weak. about the fuel pressure, i though since you gain 1psi for every pound of boost your pushing the 43 psi would be a problem without a larger then turbo stock fuel pump and would have trouble at high rpms

Only if you plan on running alot of boost will it be an issue. Say you plan on running 15 psi of boost, that added to the base fuel pressure of 43 gives you 58psi, which is still within the limits of a stock turbo fuel pump(barely). If you want more boost than that you will need a better fuel pump.

I'm not going past 10psi until get the rods machined to fit the 2g pistons. So I guess I wont be needing the supra fuel pump until then

Can i get some feedback and tip right not my boost is spiking to 20 psi where it usually fuel cuts or leans, out idk but i just need to know how long the n/t pistons are going to last
