installing remote start

Im installing a remote start on my 92 talon tsi and the alarm needs to be hooked up to the oil sensor. the instructions say to hook it up to the oil sensor on the dash board or to the wire coming out of the alternator, so please help me i cannot find this wire. It says that with the ignition on it needs to show 2-3v and when the starter motor is turning it needs to show 12-14v

I've never done the install my self, but this should help.

It doesn't say anything about the oil sensor though..
