Hey guys searched and couldn't find anything like this. I know there is A LOT of people out there with holset set up that don't have dyno/track numbers yet so we can't post in the holset results thread yet. And scrolling threw 7Parts of holset threads just to find pictures is rough!

So to start, lets keep the thread down to a minimum amount of words. Just post pictures of holsets. If you post pictures of a holset next to another turbo you can write what turbo is next to it and what holset. Also what ever holset you post you can say, "hx35, 40, hy35, hx5X etc"

Rules: Holset turbos by themselves, Holsets next to other turbos, various holset set ups, (doesn't even have to be on a DSM).

EDIT: In the Results thread, you don't need dyno or track times. If you have an installed setup, it can be posted. I simply ask you try and post some info on how is spools. When you do get dyno/track info, update the post later. Here's what I said:

"Intent is to post your mod list, an installed pic (engine shot), logs, dyno charts and track results of your car with a completed Holset setup. "

If you visit the thread, there are several people that don't have dyno numbers or track info. Some have a log. Some only have spool info. (like 20psi by 3800rpm or whatever) I've not asked anyone to take their post down for not having that info. (I have asked some random posters with non pertinent info to delete posts or people with multiple posts with the same setup. ) If you revise your car, bigger turbo, new housing, etc, then it's OK to post a new post. If the core system stays the same, they just update the initial post.

The more I think about, I think this redundant. Unless you are going to make it simply for people who got the turbo and don't have it on yet. or Post a pic of a particular type, which will keep the thread small. (ie one person post a Hy-35, then it's covered. One person post a 7blade HX-35 with XX turbine houseing.etc.)

I am looking to get that exact same setup on my 2g. What are you gonna do for an o2 housing/ downpipe? Since most downpipes on the market are 2.75 are you going to do a custom one? i am looking for ideas & suggestions for future reference. Anyone? :D

Custom o2 housing for sure. I'm probably going to build something that has a v-band at each end then just v-band it to the downpipe so it remains 3" the entire way.

I have a Megan downpipe which is 3" all the way from the turbo...you can see into the pipe that about 1" past the flange it goes up to 3".

Your Car That uses the megan 3" is awd right? because on fwd applications the 1st part is 2.5 then after the little "flex pipe" it goes 3" and then necks down again to comply with the flange. here's a link so you can see.

I believe both cars have Megan downpipes; the AWD does for sure. That's the FWD in the pic, but I'm pretty sure it's a Megan downpipe mated to a Thermal R&D cat back.

It doesn't matter to me, honestly....a 3" downpipe is a 3" downpipe. As long as it fits and is functional, I could care less who made it.

Hey Justin the first 4 pictures you posted of the hx35 with the BEP housing set up for an external off the o2, I'm just wondering if you could give me a price for you to rebuild an hx35, get the correct BEP housing, and put it all together, like if I sent you my hx35... if you wouldn't mind?

I don't have the time to track down housings from vendors and shop for the best prices. I rebuild the turbos for the standard rate- the housing purchase is left up to the customer. If the customer chooses to have their housing of choice drop-shipped to my shop where I can install it and send them a completed turbo, that's an option as well.
