Marsa..the pins come with the pads when you buy new pads.

Using the outlandersetup is waay cheaper.

1. get 2002-2003 Mitsubishi outlander Rotors (eurospec 300mm)(103 euros for the set at autoparts store/oem are 175 EACH!)
2.get Outlander/gsx/sigma pads(45 eurs at autoparts store)
3.get Outlander Brackets (63 euros each at mitsubishi dealer)
this setup retains the gsx calipers (which are the same as Outlander ones)

i also got some Goodridge ss brakelines from go-performance

total cost:
275 euros for a 300mm big brake upgrade. (excl the ss lines, i got those later)

@guys wanting this setup in the states.. the us spec 1st gen outlander had smaller brakes in the US, youll have to check to see if the 07s got the bigger brakes.. a member on here pmed me and apparently hes working on tryxing out the 07s..so i geuss he'll post his results in due time.
Ok, let me make sure I'm reading this clearly.

Outlander rotors and pads.

Outlander brackets with 2g GSX calipers. But we should look at the '07+ because they're bigger? If that's the case, I work at a parts store. I might be able to do this pretty cheap.

Now I read through this thread and unless I missed it, what type of wheel clearance do you need? I know you need at least a 17" wheel, but how about the offset? This is a major factor for me as I have some rare 18" Forged Centerline RPM's in Gunmetal that they no longer make. They are 18 x 7 with a 42mm offset. I saw someone with a 7.5 wide on here, so wondering if my wheels will fit. If not it is not worth the swap for me.

My friend did that on his 1g, so he can keep the handbrake.
This very idea has been tossed about on another thread. What is required to disable the stock caliper? Is it just left with some brake compatable grease inside and capped off?
