Hey guys I was wondering if the Evo Fuel Pump and Evo turbos bolt on? I am guessing you need a kit for the Evo turbo correct? Please let me know because a guy is selling the turbo for 200 or best offer and my stock t25 leaks oil and I'd might as as well upgrade it while its out.

This is the one that I found, I just want to make sure that this is an actual Evo IX.

Well, according to zhjiln, an evo IX pump would not overflow the stock fuel regulator. However, he is only running 17 psi. On a side note, my 2G stock fuel regulator was overflow by the walboro 190LPH......so every car is different...that's all I have to say.:coy:

please post part number of the evo9 pump...i bought one a while ago, its currently on my 2g, but it wasnt silver. it looked identical to the 2g one, just a bit newer looking...hope i didnt get shafted...any other way to confirm its an evo9 pump...??

the EVO 9 is silver i believe, either way if the one you got isnt silver, its not an EVO 9 pump, hope its an EVO 8 at least.

but someone correct me if im wrong, it sbeen a while since i installed my 9, first page shows silver being the EVO 9

It is a big PITA to adapt EVO 4-9 turbo on a DSM 4G63. The only application where it makes some sense is when you have RWD conversion. This is what it looks like on my engine:

I used a 1/2" spacer and ground off a lot of material from the block AND from the compressor housing (I also semi-polished it).

You also need to:

-Relocate the alternator
-relocated the water pump feed (or get rid of it completely)
-it points in the "wrong" direction, so you will need custom downpipe and intake piping.

This is BAD IDEA all the way around!!! I only did this because I was doing many of these things anyway.

On the top part, it should say 0905h3570 if its an evo9 pump.

Heres an old pic of my 9 pump

I saw a pump for sale over at evolutionm.net and it is supposed to be off a IX but it isnt the same color as the rest of the IX pumps i have seen.
