guys i hav a holset hx35 with a bep t3 housing and i tried it on my megan racing t3 manifold and it hits the block, even with a spacer it wont work ! what manifolds have people used with the bep t3 inlet housing that clears !

I have no problems with Turbonetics not to mention DNP, Punishment-Racing, Straight Line Specialties, JH Racing, Shearer Fab, etc... are reliable manifold fabricators.

I mean I don't much about Megan Racing manifolds, but $200 manifold isn't going to cut it especially for a tubular running a T3 turbo. When you go big you should go with a pro fabricator that know what there are doing.

i didn't think fitment would be off so bad with this manifold, it is a copy of a megan racing manifold but the more i look at it the more i think that the manifold is just warped and the t3 flange is twisted towards the block not away like most ive seen !

my housing is either the .55 or .70 its the last cast t3 one they had ! its probobly the .70......

Copy... I'll bet it's eBay manifold and this explains the fitments issue. eBay manifolds are garbage, even if it does fitment is WILL crack or break apart.

BEP T3 is .70 and Mistrubishi bolt-on are .55.

i thought the housing was a .70, the manifold is from ebay, if the t3 flange wasn't warped and twisted towards the block i could have made it work. the welds are good and the metal is thick. i guess i'll be looking for some people who are using the t3 bep housing to see what they are using !

I have a BEP T3 housing and Turbonetics works. BEP T3 housing is a T3 standard type of housing. As I said before DNP, Punishment-Racing, Straight Line Specialties, JH Racing, Shearer Fab, etc... are pro fabricators that make T3 manifolds.

Just don't ever trust anything off of eBay. T3 manifolds are in the $500-$1200 price range not $200. It just comes to a certain extent where you can tell what it good and what's not.

i wonder if a true megan racing manifold would have a good fitment ! they look nice and the flange looks like it turned away from the block.

When they say it is a T3 manifold for DSM then it will fit according to the manufacture. Don't know about the quality or anybody who has it, it's quite cheap for a tubular. Realistically a tubular runs the $800-$1200 price range. I don't doubt Megan Racing manifold but there is a difference when you are comparing a $200 vs $800-$1200 in performance and quality. Maybe you can test it out.

When it comes to a big T3 turbo, there is no cheap way to go. A big turbo is capable of producing more power but there are a lot of other thing that needed to done to work with it. Power cost money.
