me neither.. im like salavating for the final product... my brother is all "you designed it, ask for half price when its done"

I just got the spare bumper.. so, soon enough I will have it to my body man. I think I may leave the intercooler ducts.

There is a wide body kit you can get for a 2g that does not come with front or rear bumpers. So you can use any bumper you desire, including stock. Its what I was going to do if I ever got ahold of another 2g gsx.

NX Wide Body Kit for 1995 - 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse [ME95BMNXSCK] - $895.00 : AIT Racing.com, Body Kits, Carbon Fiber Hoods, Fenders, Doors, Manufacturer

yeah i would go for the stock looks and those sideskirts

Thanks for the input. At this point I don't want to do anything to the engine because this is my daily driver, and with the bolt-ons I have on it I am getting around 28-32 mpg all the time, with gas at $4.24 a gallon....... I dont wanna risk doing something that will affect the mpgs. Anyway here's a pic of the Eclipse tails on it, SORRY I HAVE NO PHOTOSHOP SKILLS!!!:toobad: If some lucky person with skills can do a better job than me, than please do so and dont for get the Turbo Wing please!
I am so glad gas in ohio is $1.87 haha but, I like the way it looks except for the supra lights. What color is it going to be?

Just the side skirts ehh? Might look a lil funny.

I say, the NX Wide Body Kit, Stock front and rear bumper. Some kinda aftermarket lip for the front bumper, and a rear CF Difuser. As well as no wing, and some nice wheels, it would look exotic as hell.

does anyone know if they made any kind of wide bodykit for the 1G? alot of the old cars get no love as far as that goes LOL.

If I had gone ahead and done it, she would have been Kandy Apple Red. I dont know if anyone makes widebody kits like that for the 1Gs, look around some, I almost gave up when I was tracking this one down. But surely somebody out there makes some. I still dont know, I might do this on my other baby, if some investments come through, but with how things are looking it could be a very long time... The NX wide body kit is a good one, some guy around here has one on his RS... Slower than maple syrup in the middle of winter, but it looks ok.

outside of wider fenders to fit wider tires im a fan of keeping a eclipse looking like an eclipse and just making them go, but if thats what your into at least its something different originality points to you i never seen on on the road.

i am more towards an eclipse looking like an eclipse.
also if you are actually thinking about blowing 7k onto doing that, you either filthy rich, or need therapy. for real. just like everyone said, there is way better ways to spend money.
also when i read your first post, i thought you were going to do all of that yourself, or at least attempt to. if you have no experience, and you going to have a shop do everything, just because you want a unique car, u either need to be swimming in dough, or you are just making a stupid decision. save the 2g the way it is, save your money, you can blow that cash onto something more useful. dsms are not the most reliable cars in the world, i wouldn't spend 7k into making it look likt that, if its your daily driver, chances are, in couple more years, you'll start to get problems with it, and you'll want a new daily driver.
save the car and save the money!

Im gonna re awaken this thread for a minute LOL, for the ones that own the GT3 wide body front fenders from chaser aerodynamics, you do need the wide front bumber too? and also how wide is each flare? thanks!

I know its an old post, but i had one back in 2004. Bought mine from chaser aero in maryland. It was a real pain to mold on. But theyre still selling it today. I believe it cost me 1500 for the whole kit. No shipping cuz i went and picked it up
