Well, I fired the car up today. I have all my mods listed in my profile. The thing that has me thinking is the way it idles. I just have the translator runnin right now(dsmlink comes tuesday). I figured I could at least get the car to a good idle though so I could hear those new cams and make sure everything is ok. The car idles like crap. I havnt driven it cause i dont have brakes yet. The car barely wants to stay running and when i try to hit the gas it bogs first then will move up but it is rough. Also the car feels like a damn pro street drag car or something. I am hoping this is not the way 272's feel or they are coming out! It is so extremely choppy. It obviously feels like there is something missing from the motor. The car just feels like a piece. I have the translator base knob set so I thought it would idle fine. I am just hoping when I get dsmlink, this wont be a problem. What do you guys think?

It's probably just out of tune, running with the wrong timing advance or too rich/lean. Fix that and it should be ok. If not, your mechanical timing could be off.

well, I havnt adjusted the ignition timing or messed with the cas a whole lot. I know the timing isnt off, I have done that so many times, it is just like riding a bike to me now.LOL I need to set the ignition timing but with cop I dont know how.
