I do agree that arp's are a nice plus.....and for 100 bucks....it is cheap insurance.

Regardless...at that power level i really don't feel that you will have any sort of catastrophic failure. I would say worst case scenario you lift the head and/or start pushing coolant. IF that happens, pull the head and put the headgasket of your choice and arp studs and be done with it.

Use this information at your own discretion. I am not here to tell you that your motor will live a long happy life at 20psi...but in my experience the motor is more than capable of handeling what you are throwing at it. Just don't be choked if something does go wrong.


I just built a 5000 dollar long block and i already have a spare block, t case, pistons, rods, crank sitting around cause when you start playing with big horse power...well...you just never know.....
