If the light does come back on, get it checked, mine does the same thing, and I have my rear 02 sensor disconnected(It ripped while I put on my exhaust), so it's obviously my sensor, and it sounds like you may have the same problem. Oh yeah, and don't forget the air cleaner too, as well as fuel injector cleaner =)
