gm maf/ maf-t..... cant find info im lookin for

i have searched the site and cans seem to find what im lookin for. i got me a gm maf for my 90 awd turbo talon and i need to know if i need a maf-t to make it work. can i tie it in and it work corecty of do i need the translator first? sorry if it is already on here, but i have been searchin on the site for a couple hours and cant seem to find what im lookin for. please help. its the only thing holdin me back right now.

Yes, you need it.

Yes, you need a MAF-T. You also need an upper intercooler pipe set up for blowthrough mode if you are intending to use the MAF-T setup to atmospheric vent your BOV (can't just put the GM MAS where the stock MAS sits, have to have the GM MAS *after* the BOV), and not just compensate for how easy it is to overrun the stock 1G Karmann MAS.
