Wheel hopping

Hi how in the m=world do i stop my car from wheel hopping its a 90 laser FWD. THANKS ALOT!!!

Urethane motor mounts should help for sure. Increased vibration, but should help alleviate wheel hop. Along with some suspension adjustments.

Well there have been a lot threads about FWD and wheel hop try using the search button to your advantage. Now another you could reduce wheel hop is lowering the car from the front more aggressively. You don't want to go to low so you hit curbs in you daily driving. That way the cars weight will shift to the front putting more weight on the front wheels.

Motor Mount Inserts.
Front Control Arm Bushings.
Front Sub-frame Bushings.
Front Sway Bar Bushings.

And in you're combo of struts with a hard setting and a set of lower springs with a hard spring rate and you're good to go.

Oh and an LSD would help too.

Just like fuel and engine tuning... Every car is different. What works on one car may not work on another. Even the way you drive can contribute to wheel hop. I'm sure having a good set of tires would probably exaggerate wheel hop too, due to them attempting to "hook up" better. Worn tires would just spin out of control.

A lancer I used to have would just spin tires like crazy. Once I actually got some good tires on there, it hopped a bit.

Energy Suspension motor mount inserts cured my wheel hop issues.

now, im new to dsm's, but i cured the wheel hop issue with my srt4 by simplying adding solid motor mounts...

i can vouche for the lsd theory it works wonders using performance lsd's on the car

Learn to launch better and wheel hop will be minimal. Do everything everyone else said too.
