How much better is the FP red over the scm5252e(60-1)? Is it really worth the price over the 60-1? Im aiming for high 10s on spray...Mods include fully built 7bolt bottom end, 6 bolt head hks 272s, crower valvetrain, sbr intake manifold, 750cc, dsmlink, 60-1 externally gated, tre stage 2 tranny, kaaz lsd, supporting mods..

I'd say it's worth it, the quality of an FP turbo compared to a Precision turbo is enough for most people. Not a lot of people have put their car's into the 10's with a turbo that size, but if you're motivated enough, I'm sure you could do it.

sorry to bring this back from the dead, but you don't need spray to run 10's on the red. it's capable of 600hp, i think it's a great all out street turbo, just make sure you are prepared for it. my only question is what are the spool times like on this thing? i have the fp3052 and it spools right at 3600.
