Hey,
i just bought myself some new alteza taillights and drilled some holes in it for some led bulbs. I want those led bulbs to act as turn signals appart from the standart bulbs. I cut the wires at the light and hooked the leds up and they work for hazard and turn signal, however they now also come on as my brakelight........
I went to the steering column and took the turn signal switch out to get to the wires but i cant figure out which wire is what... i cut into one green wire coming from the switch and hooked the led up to that but no it comes on without blinking.....
so can someone please point me in the right direction with a wiring diagram or something? thx
oh and happy new year guys

thx for the link, however help it did not LOL
i think what i'm really looking for is the point where the brakelight wire will combine with the wire from the turn signal. I even cut the the grey and blue wire coming straight from the flasher unit behind the radio in the dashboard however i still get the darn brakelight in it......
I even went and grounded the led light seperately just to make sure the brakelight isn't going through the ground somehow....

ok nevermind my ordeal with the lights, i spend about 4 hours on the turnsignal switch, the hazard switch and wasnt able to figure it out.....
I just ended up cutting the wire off of the brakepedal switch and ran a new wire all the way to the trunk
