 I'm getting ready to do an auto conversion on my 1g awd. I heard the AEM EMS has problems with it. I'm gonna be running stock TCU and AEM EMS for engine controls only. I read on aem forums to cut pin 104 on the ecu harness. Do I need to use auto harness or could I modify the 5spd Harness for the tcu?????

If you don't get a response try contacting AMS, I know one of those guys has the AEM in his auto 1g.

It is possible to use aem to control almost any auto trans, all you really need is a couple high side drivers from the aem and a wiring diagram from the trans.

And eric from ams used a IPT Shift Box to shift his trans.
