ok i just got done completely rebuilding my engine and here is what i did

rebuilt head
new racing rings
new racing main and rod bearings
new oil pump
new water pump
new t belt
new b shaft elim kit
new fidanza flywheel
new act 2600 clutch
all new gaskets
new 4 layer metal head gasket
new arp head bolts
new bigger hole lifters

and that is everything that is new i think, anyway i need input on what to do for my first start up like priming it or whatever, what oil and how to perfectly break it in this is my first rebuild so im a little nervous thanks!!!!

ok i think i got it as far as start up and break in but what oil should i use for the first circularion through 5w-30???? im planning on using royal purple 10w-30 once the car is broken in

everyone always told me not to use synthetic for the first batch of oil because it may not remove peices of metal as easy as a non synthetic.

You might want to put some research into this before trying it though.
