cut it off

your worried about how far the shifter moves bottomline right? so you lose a SMALL amount of lever advantage. The same thing happens when you reduce the throw. you still require more force to go the same distance.. infact it takes more effort because it wieghs more. I cut mine off and used the steel bushing setup... it shifts awesome... besides that did you ever notice how the whole assembly moves when the engine torques over if you could solid mount the engine that would help too.. instead of it trying to get away from you everytime the engine changed angles under the hood. man I wish I could post up some pictures. oh wait is that little yellow box.. uh.. let me get the digital camera.. ill be back in the morning
