    Thanks for the quick reply, I did find a connector with 2 red wires leading to the location you mentioned. I tried figuring out how to remove it to no avail, as I had a hunch that was it I was planning on pulling my car back in after work today and letting my sausage fingers give it another try...

    Names Cody, been a long time lurker of the site, owned 3 DSMs but currently down to 1. I'm located in Oregon and more specifically the Salem/Albany area. I'm one of the few guys not trying to play with turbos, I'm running a 99 RS and plan on keeping it all motor and the forever DD lol.
