Hello all. I Just picked up a 91 AWD Talon that had been sitting in a garage locally for a few years. It has a buschur racing stage 1 short block, Big 16g Turbo, Apexi SAFC2, full 2.5" exhaust all the way back. Car starts right up after som new fuel but dies right away unless I keep her going. So I have a few issues I am sure to need some expertise advise along the way here but I am looking forward to getting it back on the road again and enjoying it.

If it has been sitting for years or any length of time always start with your maintenance. Check the TIMING belt asap/ change oil/ spark plugs/ check coolant/Fluids.

If the car wont stay idling you can try to adjust the BISS screw on the throttle body.

Do you have a Check engine light on?

I checked the timing, replaced the plugs, changed engine oil, fixed cobbed up mess with MAF wiring harness, and found a vaccum leak. No check engine light on when car is running just runs rough almost like it is not getting enough fuel. Gonna change fuel filter tonight and see if that helps at all I will also check BISS screw and see if that makes a difference as well.

Ended up picking the car up for $700 with an extra head and set of wheels so I don't mind having to mess with it a little bit to get her going again. I will post some pics of it up when I can.

Maybe your fuel pump is going out
