My name is Logan, Im 24 and a tattooer at Stay True Tattoos in Sharpsburg, GA. Im fresh to this industry. I apprenticed for one year and that ended in November of 2012. So, about four months out of the apprenticeship.

A little taste of my Tattooing style: I did this at my first guest spot down in Tifton, Ga at Tattoo Addiction.

On to my car. I just recently took ownership of a 1991 Galant VR4 #1027/2000 with around 174k on the clock. I traded (1) GT2860rs with Tial exhaust housing, (1) Miata 6 speed trans and (1) Miata Misumoto radiator for her. I maybe had $1200 into those parts and they sat around for a few years, so I feel like it was a pretty fair deal. 3 parts and no cash exchange for a whole car with title. She is rough around the edges but will clean up nicely.

I'm new to Mitsubishi products. My plan for this build is to take her back to as close to stock as I can get with minor upgrades and bolt on(s) only after all the preventative maintenance is taken care of. I took ownership of her with a toasted trans, so I have yet to drive her. I recently ordered a replacement trans from a importer in Canada, round $650 shipped with around 40k miles on it. Upon removing the upper timing cover to take a peak at what is there, it would appear that everything on the front side has been replaced already. WIN!!! It comes at a price though, the belt has a nice groove carved into it from the longer oil pan bolt being in the wrong spot.

I will most be lurking and reaming more often than posting for now, but Im happy to be here. Happy with my purchase and excited about getting this baby back on the road. Thanks for looking.

As she is seen in the photos is how I took ownership of her. I haven't changed anything yet. I'm currently gathering parts to get her fix and on the road. The trans is shot and the one I bought just showed up yesterday. Next is ordering a clutch combo, timing belt, water pump ect. Pretty much all of the maintenance is getting knocked out first along with cleaning up a lot of the half ass mods.

Yeah, I have been looking at write ups for installing EVO8 suspension. I may be going the route of full coilovers paired with some BBS LM's. That will be way on down the road though along with paint.

my fellow vr4 owner!

:thumb: No other vehicle has had me captivated as much as my GVR4 has. Despite not having the opportunity to drive her, I am still in love with this car. I at least spend a few minutes everyday just to sit in the drivers seat just to spend a little time with her.

Little bit of a update on progress!

I will be loading her up on a trailer here in the next few weeks to take her to Battleground to have her sorted out for me. In my line of work I cant risk hurting my hands on top of me not having much time to devote to putting the necessary work to make her the daily I want. I have to many hobbies as it is and little time for them all! LOL

Nice to see another gvr4 owner! Not many more around take care of her! I have 548/2000 in Nile black.

Right on! She will definitely get the proper attention she deserves! I should be ordering all the OEM maintenance parts this weekend from extreampsi.com, I think my shopping list added up to just over a grand. I also just sent payment for a v3 ecmlink last night that was for sale on here. Hopefully that will be on its way soon. Still waiting to hear from him though...A local friend of mine is hooking me up of some of his spare take off parts from his 1g Talon.
