Hey guys, Im Chris. I joined up a while back but my email wouldnt let me confirm so i stayed as a lurker, that email died and i swich emails and can now post.
So, not new to the DSM world, but technically dont own a DSM, i have a 1996 Mitsubishi Galant. I have had the car since i was a senior in HS back in 07 and its come a long way. It started auto, plain grandmas galant.
It is now VR4 body converted, 5 speed swapped, rear disc swapped, upgraded to 2g GSX dual piston fronts with, GVR4 rotors( still 4 lug ATM) and this passed summer it was turboed with a TD05H 20G that i built myself, SAFC tuned, evo injectors, external tial 40, wally 255 etc. the main issue with that setup is the stock ecu really got in the way then i did lift the head off the block turning up the boost more than i should have and having a heavy foot.
Today it is in the middle of a build and here are some specs of what is rolling out this spring
Rebuilt stock bottom 4G64 with ARP main studs, head studs, and ACL race bearings. Block converted to DOHC. All done myself
The head is from a 1994 Galant GS which had a DOHC 2.4 4G64, and it is a 2G style head. The head has Ferrea valves and guides, FP beehive valve springs, and FP3 cams. I also did the valve job and assembled the head.
Turbo and tuning should be running on Link V3 as i have finished the ECU swap into my galant and may be running either a 6152 or 6176. both bolt on housings
Also swapping to a 2G GST tranny and axles w/ ACT 2600
