Just Bought a dsm!!!
Hey guys just took the plunge and picked up a 97 gsx this will be my new project car it has dsm link apexi 3" exhaust and the rest was stock. 126000 miles. he was asking 3500$ I talked him down to 2850$ cant wait to see what you think!!!

Hmm.. not sure about the unmolested part.. if the guy had link+exhaust+gauges he must have been tuning something. Make sure you go over that car with a fine toothed comb. Welcome to the club

Its def. been tampered with the head gasket is bad theres aftermarket turbo oil feed and oil dump to oil pan. it doesnt matter im buying a shortblock for it and race head. i want to have around 500 hp when im done with some drivability. not sure what turbo to run yet sooo many choices!!

+1 my buddy is doing the same thing he bought a mbc and want to turn the boost up without the supporting mods or basic maintence like the timeing belt and trany fluid change

it is cf hood its a vis i hit it with the buffer it looks great!!
amen to the maintinence guys i agree these dsm are verry picky
