I just bought Far cry 2 and its f'in awesome. It's less demanding then Crysis because they took the time to fully optimize the game.

I bought a GTX 280 2 weeks ago so I can experience Far cry 2 at its best. It was well worth it because my old 8800GT couldn't hack it when you turn up the AA.

I used to play a bunch of games. CSS, Battlefield 2142, Crysis, TF2, HL2, HL2-E1,2. But i just don't have time anymore. When Half Life 2 Episode 3 comes out, i will make time though. And update my computer again! :thumb: What is Far Cry about?

I bought half life 2 a while back and I still can't finish the damn game. I believe I might be 3/4 done. Then after that I still need to play half life 2: episode one and two :( . I do enjoy the 64bit patch, gives it a little more detail

Does the graphic card really make a difference? My system doesn't have an "aftermarket" graphics card" but I don't have any issues playing several games. I have 4gigs RAM with video memory using 256MB

Umm...YES! Thats why people invest in thousands of dollars worth of GPU in some cases. The amount of memory isn't what is most important in GPU. Its is the core clock speed, number of pipelines and then memory bandwidth. Nvidia is designing a chip to take care of more applications than ever before on the GPU. Which in turn will let the CPU handle more tasks and increase speed of computers. Kinda cool.

#### episode 1 and stop playing HL2. End of Half-Life if you dont already know, you beat the conbine for the time being, and then EP1, you trek though the woods and i think the citadel is about to blow up. And you meet up with the Doctors and such. EP2 is the best game i have ever played. Fantastic graphics, stunning visual scenery, sounds amazing, and the storyline kicks major ass.

Your saying to skip all of them and go to Episode 2?

Yea. Read what happens at the end of HL2 and EP1, and go to EP2. Then after you beat that, go back to those. HAHA. EP 2 is so much better. Trust me, when you get to the end, you will go, OMG, i need EP3. The ending is so GOOD!

Episode 2 was very dramatic and sad. I can't wait until Episode 3 comes out. Episode 2 doesn't even give you a glance of what 3 will be.

Yea. Thats one thing about Valve i hate, is that they never give any heads up about their games. They are very sneaky!

Finishing my car by spring is more important than buying a 400 dollar GPU when my 8800 GTS OC works perfectly fine! :thumb:

Call of duty World at war should be interesting. Can't believe they went from WW2 style to modern warfare and back to WW2 style. Are they running out of ideas??

There have only been so many battles. Ha. They could go medieval, but that has been beat to death like a pornstars vag by the 2D strategy games.

i hope i can play it LOL;)
