I have set a new record in Need for Speed: Most Wanted for shortest pursuit time. If you can beat my time I will send you one of the upgrade I have lying around (I'm not doing anything with them). Some of these parts are new. What parts? Well, the parts are like the markers in the game. I will label each one and you pick one of 6 markers. Cool huh?

Here's the rules:
A) No cheat codes
B) MUST have picture AND video proof of post pursuit stats with the EA logo popping up.
C) Tell us how you achieved this short score.

Once we have 5 contestants I will post my time and my video and explain how I did it. You do not have to pay ANYTHING to participate so you have nothing to lose. But my score is unbelievably awesome, it is impossible to beat with breaking the above rules.... possibly match. But I doubt any you can even pull that off.

So lets see it. Lowest pursuit time. First to beat mine gets some free parts. One of the parts sells for $700 and only has 8 miles on it (practically new)

Offer will expire no shorter then 7 days, but can be extended

I believe you may be the only one still playing this game.

I still play it every now and then, I guess I'll have to fire the console up yet again....I think you should post your time up so I can work towards the goal instead of fighting against it blindly....

Ya! I realized it's not fair anyway since it's literally impossible to beat it.

I have not played that game in a long long time, but I have also had a pursuit last that long. Definitely laughed when I saw the time.

I didnt take a pic or anything but I got a time of 7.92 seconds

Thats actually really good. The way I got that score was I was in Career Mode, where you Roam the Map. I was driving towards an event and a call was given for my car. As I got closer to the event, the radar detector was going nuts. I ran into the cop at the same exact time I entered the event (by pressing up on the directional pad). The screen turned blue and went straight to the results page of the pursuit, instead of starting the race. I was actually confused at what had happened at first. When I exited the results page, it put me into the race Accept/Decline Page. I accepted and instead of entering the race. I was back on street in a pursuit. But this time, the clock had started at 24:xx. which I assume was the amount of time it took for me to find the digital camera and take a picture, ect. Either way it was cool. I could have gotten the longest pursuit and the shortest pursuit in one shot.

If you issued the challenge on who could go the longest, I'd do it for a free part. :D

i think my longest was like 42 minutes on NFS:MW. if you hang out on top of the bus at the bus depot (go into the depot, hang a 180 and drive up the ramp) a massive army of squad cars will amass under you but not be able to figure out how to get up there, your warning level will continue to rise until you get to 5 stars or whatever, then drive over the squad cars and hit up the freeway loop, and enter into the stadium from the freeway (theres a small opening) and ebrake into the corner, usually unless they are on your ass they lose you.

i remember a few tips.

if you get barracaded by the cops (usually with more stars) and cant get free and the busted timer starts counting down, pause and go into the tuning menu, select nitrous on full and the torque/turbo bar really low (to all low end power) and enter the game, shift into 2nd or 3rd and hit the nitrous and you will usually slingshot out of there. NFS is weird in how engaging nitrous actually gives you traction, that in combination with the low gearing and torque, moves anything but rhino's out of your way, should you happen to get stuck between rhino's youre pretty much ####ed.

99% of the time you will lose the cops at the 270* double stacked freeway loop section. the computer has issues controlling them at high speeds in the long sweeping turn, unless they are kissing your ass through the turn, they will either wipe out or lose ground and lose visual.
