Which PS3 game is the best?

I am finally taking the plunge on a PS3 (60GB) and a Samsung HDTV and HDMI cable. I will probably buy all of it within the next week.

I would like to know, from those of you that own them, which games are best for the PS3.

Upon my initial research, I think that "Resistance: Fall of Man" looks good.

Lets hear your opinions.

I have Resistance, Genji, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and Ridge Racer 7.
I find Genji to be an awesome game and part 1 was really good (not needed to play this one) but only complaint I have is the bad camera since it is on a rail and not a free flow.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance is fun if you always have someone around to play it with.
Resistance story is good and fun. The best part is the online play.
Ridge Racer 7 is your typical arcade style racing game. Its fun to pick up.

Yea GT:HD is a free download its about 615 MB.

Also there are a few demo games you can try out too and trailers of game demo. Just recently they just added a few new movie trailers. TMNT in hd, Harry Potter in hd and these 2 other movie. The new TMNT trailer is nice.

Assassin's Creed is gonna blow everything away...that's the number 1 next gen game I'm looking forward to. First game I'm gonna buy when I buy either the PS3 or 360 in August...

Well, I picked up my PS3 and my HDTV.

Now I just have to find a way to get this thing to connect to my wireless network.

(right out of the box wifi my ass!)

I had no problem connecting to my wireless router.

I have no problem connecting it wirelessly out of the box. I am using a D-Link 624 wireless router.

Ya. It is on my "to-do" list. But the games on this thing look amazing on an HDTV.

Ah Halo..most overrated game ever, maybe? I think so...

Telling somebody to take the PS3 back now is kinda stupid...you can't compare a system that just launched to one that's been out for over a year. Do what I'm doing..wait until at least August, then make your decision. By then Sony will have had their chance to get themselves out of the whole they're in with the PS3. If not, a 360 I will get...no Halo though. Sorry

I can honestly say the PS3 launch titles all suck. there is nothing good out right now.. and what sucks is its taking for ever for the good games to be released.

Though as soon as the good games come in i will be more happy with my PS3 ( I haven't touched it in over a month)

As for Halo.. The only thing good about halo is that it brought a PC like gaming experience to the console.. the lats game to do that was golden eye for N64.
Other wise the game play and graphics.. as well as the story in halo are all terrible. Nothing revolutionary at all.
