:dsm: In my opinion; this is one of the best driving simulators when it comes to sound when you add on mods. Exhaust tone; Blow off valve; engine; and even shifts sound different with every modification. And it's a fun game in general.

It's just too bad the physics are absolutely terrible.

yeah; they are horrible. but they did have a GST in both; and after you mod it completely; it sounds like HKS SSQV

I agree the physics bite, but I love the game as well.

My only issue is I can't get the last boss to race me. I drive around and around and he never challenges me. I haven't played the game in months.

its corny but i used that as a idea on which kinda of rim paint combos look good. i would fix it up and then look at it on the streets haha

edit: true i quit playing the game after noone would challenge me i think i had about 4 cars total that wouldnt race me.. so i quit.. i'm a quiter. :|

The last boss in which one. zero or 3? because in 3 you race the last boss 3 times. and in order for him to challenge you; you need a special license plate number; that's why you need to save up money and stuff; and keep racing the previous bosses over and over to get alot of money so when you do see him; you can prep a car with the right license plate number that will be able to take his on. I raced with a chaser the whole entire game; then i beat the boss with that japanese supercar; i forget what it's called; it looks like an old school diablo.

I posted this in a nother thread about this game too, here's a list of the wanderer requirements, if it wasnt for this list I would have gone crazy. Hope this helps you guys.

Also let me know if you need any help with anything on this game. I think that it is one of the best street racing games. The funny thing is that they have cars like the Riddox Supra which is a real car, I have seen it on some of the JDM Option videos, aswell as Nobutero Tanaguchi's S15 silvia. It funny to see these things in the game and then realize that they are real.

It's whichever version is for the PS2. I have the wanderer list but I still couldn't get the last boss. I will try to find the answer in the faq but if you know the special requirements post it here and that would make my life a litte easier and I can finally beat the game.

In Zero, I can't get past the race where you race two bosses back to back without gaining any of that little bar back(the bar that goes down when you are losing). So after race after race after race, i quit and havn't played it since. Maybe I'll get back into it. I beat the third one after playing it for about a year. Some of the requirements are rediculous. Some of them make it to where it has to ba a certain time acording to your PS2 clock, on top of having a certain license plate number, and drivetrain of car.. :barf: But, they're both rather fun games to play with all of your friends.

There is a glitch in TXR3 where one of the wanderers won't show up because the game doesn't allow you to accrue enough credits to meet their requirement. The only way to make this wanderer appear is with a cheat device such as Action Replay or Gameshark. I don't have the exact link, but search for it on www.gamefaqs.com and you'll see what I'm talking about.

This is my favorite game also i just wish they would fix the graphics on it or make apart 4 either for the xbox or new ps3 when it comes out then i think it would be the ultimate srteet raving game

You're going to be waiting there for a while. It's not out yet.

YEah man i was a big fan of Tokyo Ex series..... its still on e of my favorites cuse of the rim painting options.... the fact that you can acctually choose what color the lip of the rim was and the face seperately

They need to start putting that feature in more racing games today.

As with the final boss.... yeah it takes a while but its an awesome race when you go up against him.... i took him with a viper but that ####er is quick.

on TXR3 the hard part was racing the 3 supras at the same time. But i had the GT40 and it was no contest i owned the supras :thumb:

#600 rival is something really secret and has some crazt ass car no one seems to know about. You need gameshark to get to him, I wonder what car it is?

Yea but, I used the game shark and it still would not give me the total amount of credits I needed to race him, you need like 100,000,000. and it would only give me 99,999,999.00. That really pissed me off . So if anyone got that to work let me know, because I bough that game shark for that game alone.
