***TIME ATTACK***

Limited to Suzuki Cappuccino ONLY.

All mods permitted (excluding Nitrous)

No tuning restrictions.

My best time so far is 8:43 with my cuppuccino with pretty much everything you can do to it (sept nitrous).

This may sound goofy to drive it with such a small car, but it is pretty challenging to keep it on the road.

Please post your times up... :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

8.41 but the gearing is horrible for that car. Maybe with some tweaks i can get it under 8.40

8:18:23 so far.

Messed with the gearing a bit to get a little more top end. I am almost 2-4 seconds faster than that time, but i keep screwing up on about 3/4th of the way through the course, on a couple high speed to low speed turns.

****8:10:92****

Think i finally got a good setup.

Isnt there anyone else that wants to partake on this event? Its not as easy as it sounds.

got an 8:36, its a bit jumpy, need to tweek it more though, maybe this weekend.
are we using the '91 capp. or the '95?
i used the '95 if it matters.
i think we should try it with the cyborg(mitsu.) w/ no nos. what do you think?

I believe i am using the 95. Yeah, it is pretty jumpy, but you just have to remember on the Nurburgring, you cant have the susp. too hard or else you'll be bouncing everywhere. Just have to find a good "inbetween" setup.

I would be open to change it to a lightweight car time attack, but I'll have to see what cars it is limited to.

***edit***

Its actually the 91'. I got the red one for initial D points. ;)

ok so finally found low mileage used '91 Capp. and got 138hp :D ,(it helps over the 126hp) did two laps and got an 8.21.201. so i think i can do better, should be able to shave another 4 sec. at least. maybe this weekend. :thumb:
p.s. mines red too, give me some D points. :rocks:

Hmmm a K-car, I would try this out....I have my GT4 with me at school in my apt but I have no PS2 to play on. I love Nurburgring though, it's just too fun.

if you find one with 6.2 miles on it (which will be highlighted in orange, also applies to an used car.) you get an extra 30 to 35 hp w/ an oil change.
found this out last month, so i'm re-buying a lot of cars i already own, just for the extra hp. :D
have fun shopping! :thumb:

Got a new time of 7:52:982

I dont know why I didn't use the super-soft tires the last time I tried the time attack. They made a HUGE difference in the drivability and stability of the car.

I still can't get the 136hp. This run was actually at 124hp, or at least thats what the replay said.

dang thats pretty good. that was without NOS right? might have to ask how you have the suspension tuned. and are you using driving force or reg. controller?
haven't had time to play hopefully this weekend.

I did make a video of it, but i dont have anyway of uploading it to the internet. Anyone know of any good sites to uplead wmv. clips?

THanks,

yeah, no NOS.
