A-Spec points, purpose?

allright, well i figured out that the aspec points is kinda like a difficulty rating (also another thread about it) but i was just wondering if there is an actual purpose for them. i Have about 5,000 and im just curious.....

I was wondering that same thing. Anybody got an idea of what the fastest car is supossed to be. I know the escudo is probably gonna take cake agian. Fastest 1/4 time I have is with a Subaru STI Spec C. Only 500hp too.

i know that if you enter a race with a car that you know is going to win, its only worth 1 or 2 points, but if it is evenly matched, or the odds are against you, the points would be higher if you win. ive figured out that much so far

Yah, I changed up my corvette and went from 3 points to 168 A spec points for a race. Though driving with 20% more weight and less power isn't fun.

Yeah, first races I did was the rally racing with my GVR4 and won the Toyota rally car which sold for 256,000 Cr. Used that to buy a Impreza STi Coupe and fully modified it. Makes 524hp or something like that. Anyways, almost all the races Ive done since then are worth less than 5 A-spec points.
