With knowing how restrictive the BEP .55ar housing is on a holset, and knowing that E85 increases back pressure, I am interested in finding out exactly how hard I am working my turbo at 32psi. My plan is to hook up a 5 bar map sensor pre turbo, but I dont want to drill into the BEP or the FP manifold I have. would it be of to tap into the wastegate runner on my ot housing it will be before the wastegate and before turbine wheel.
Here is the map sensor I plan to use.
AEM 30-2131-75 5 BAR MAP Sensor 75 PSIA Brass Sensor Kit Universal
or
AEM EMS Sensors and Replacement Parts - Fluid MotorUnion
or use an oil pressure sensor that I can move to my fuel pressure regulator to log fuel pressure when im done checking the back pressure
AEM Power 30-2131-100 - AEM Power PSIG Sensor Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com
I plan to use about 2-3 feet of hard tubing to help disipate heat prior to reaching the sensor, so I dont cook it.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
