well finally got some dyno #'s on the shop 2.3 galant gsx, car is a full street car with ac, power steering, and cruise control. here is the mod list

block
6bolt 2.3 stroker with eagle crank and manley rods with wiesco 8.8 20over pistons. acl race rod and crank bearings along with new oem front case and bs eliminator. the usual arp head studs and cometic hg.

head
super tech dual springs and tita retainers along with bc 280's and ferrea 1mm oversized intake and exhaust valves.ported and polished head by me and greedy timing belt along with unorthadox cam gears on a 6bolt head. untouched
1g intake manny and n/t throttle body.

turbo
bw s366 with t3 70ar vband outlet on my tubular manny with a single tial 44mm wg, 3in down pipe all the way back to a hks carbon muffler. 3in intake piping with velocity stack and 6in filter.

cooling
2.5in piping from turbo to ebay 3in universal ic and 2.75 from ic to throttle body with a hks ssqv bov. stock galant radiator and 2 12in slimfans.

fuel
bluemax 1650's with -6an line from tank to rail and rail to fuel lab reg on a single rewired 255 in tank pump at 14v on e85. car also has exeddy twin disk stock tranny with front evo3 factory lsd.

tuning
dsmlink v2 with maf-t set in blow threw along with aem wideband.

car made 565hp at 24psi, then made 579hp at 25psi, then i ran out of pump at 27psi with the a/f's going into the 14's making 594hp and 518lbs of torque. car made full boost at 4500rpm and was at 20deg peak timing at 6k to 7k. this was on a mustang awd dyno. here is a pic of the car and dyno sheet along with a crappy vid.

so your saying the other bastarddsm is making about 600hp in a gvr4....good deal. I like. I'm guessing by 3500 your making some good power... So if you stand on it in first, does it blow the tires off?

aslo it looks like mustang dynos have a shit data analysis routine... I
 
what other bastard dsm, i have a galant of my own but its not running. this is my shop car.
 
Looks great, turn that boost up that turbo loves it. Yesterday we ran a 2.3 s366 setup and it ran 10.55@142 on pump(full weight street car driving it to the track). 36psi falling to 31psi, the intake manifold devoleped a crack.

you must be making well into the 600's mabey 700hp, are you running meth? i dont think your making that on just pump gas alone. our galant ran 11.3's at 120mph first time out to the to the track, but it broke 4th gear and i had to roll threw the traps. it could have been a 10sec pass if the tranny didnt break before the 1/4.
 
NICE! and on a lower reading mustang dyno to boot, through a stock 1g intake manifold. So good to see the competition between all these turbo manufacturers these days. It really is to the benefit of the community. The days of just garrett wheels for anything over 500whp are over.

well the reason i asked if your using meth is because to trap 140+MPH IN A 3300LBS car you need 700hp.i can see 10sec passes on 93oct and at 125-130mph, even then 500-600hp is needed on pump gas.here are the pics of the car as it sits right now.as for the pump, just an off the shelf 255 with a relay at 14v.

nice, i wish the galant was that light....just ran 7.34 @ 103mph last night. i was bored and drove to a local 1/8 mile track and ran twice, i didnt have the viscous welded so i was spinning 1st-3rd. i had to go threw the traps in 4th ### i had the rev limited at 7500rpm, if i could rev and had it locked 50/50 i can see 6's in this bad boy.
 
Nice numbers. I went 134 on straight pump with 14degrees timing on 25psi....Im sure 140s are possible just need some knowlege/balls to get it there!
