Who has blown turbo seals?

Ok well I blew my seals on my turbo and my car was smoking like mad crazy. Sent the turbo out and had it rebuilt, and i reinstalled everything. Took the IC pipes off and IC off and cleaned it very good. However I didnt do any cleaning inside my exhaust.

Well anyways I finally got to start it back up last night and its still smoking alot. I'm guessing its from oil still being in the exhaust? My question is how long will it normally take to stop smoking? I let it idle in the driveway for maybe 15 minutes and took it on a 5 minute drive.

It might be while... Did you take your intercooler out and actually clean that out.. You will pool up big time in the exhaust as well.. I would just go for a highway cruise... You need the heat and constant airflow once you make sure your IC piping is completely clean

Yes I removed the IC and IC pipes and pressure washed the inside and used degreaser. I did it over a 3 day span easch day. I know I got all the oil and residue out of the IC and Pipes.

So is it normal to smoke pretty much the same amount as it was when the turbo originally blew?
