I noticed that me new MR o2 housing has a nice chunk sticking out where the exhaust flows in. Should I port this down so the flang if even with the pipe? If so what type of bit for SS and where can I get one? I have a porter just need the proper bit got SS.

Before and after install results coming soon I hope! Right now I have a butched SB Racing 02 Housing where they ported out the divider.

Thank you!

For the record, the MR, BR, SSAC, XSP, etc etc housings are all the same thing and from the same source. Some have no lip, some do not. While a shop like BR would probably remove the lip from any that had it, a place like SSAC wouldn't ever do that.

You can easily remove it with no problem, just use a Dremel with a small grinding wheel about the size of a quarter.

I knew this was the case! I've heard of people getting the ebay catbacks/downpipes and be exactly like the megan racing stuff. They probably all get it from the same OEM manufacturer and MR tacks on their brand, and you pay significantly more for that brand recognition and some customer service.
