What injectors for Sleeper 16G?

Am currently in the market for a sleeper 16G (BTW, if you have one for sale, let me know!), as an upgrade for my small 16G. Am using 560cc injectors with a Walbro 255 fuel pump (currently with no wire mod, but might do that soon). Am wondering if I will need to upgrade injectors for a sleeper 16G. I expect I probably will have to go bigger, but wanted to check with you guys first.

Sorry if this is better suited to the Newbie thread, but I thought here would be a better place for it. Thanks for any advice you can offer me :)
 
It all depends on how much boost you plan on running. I would say if its anything over 18-20 PSI I would upgrade to 650's.
 
I'll up the boost until I can't up it any more! Seriously, I would like to think I would be getting 18-21psi out of it or so. Once my meth gets up and running the knock issues I've been currently having should be a thing of the past. May look like 650s would be the way to go then. First I need to get hold of one of these turbos though!
 
Its just a personal preference for me I dont like maxing out injectors. I say just keep an eye on your logs to see exactly what there doing. I dont have alot of info on the sleeper 16G just for the fact you dont hear many people running then for the fact that there pretty damn expensive and for the same price you could get a bigger turbo. I would think you should be able to get low 20's out of it before you max out the injectors.

This is why you dont hear much about the sleeper 16G. The sleeper 16G is almost $200 more than a 20G.

I'm running a fp sleeper 16g and love it!!!

My injectors are 680cc/min. Still running stock cams so I shift at 7000rpm. Its a torque monster all the way to 7000rpm.

My goal is to get it into the 11's with out the bottle. I'm already close at 12.51@115mph with a crappy 1.88 60'. This was at 25psi with a stock smic and piping. I just installed a fmic and it has woke it up a ton. So I 'm sure 11's will not be a problem.

Well according to my Rev Speed meter I'm running 400m / 1/4mile times of 12.39 seconds already, so a turbo like this would help me no end. Just need to keep an eye on the classifieds for a good one to come up.
 
Could you please provide details of where DSMLink has been installed into an Evo 1?
 
It's a 4g63, same as a 1g 4g63, and I'm certain that there is a 1g ECU that would control everything you need it to. Use your brain and figure out which one will work, find an EPROM version, and bam, you have DSMlink in an EVO 1.
 
It doesn't work like that andrew. And ALL evos had 7 bolts. And all evo 1-3's had a mix of 1G and 2G electronics. The ecu uses four connectors just like a 2G. It can be done I am sure, but nothing as easy as you might think. Dave and Tom will back me up on this. There are A LOT of difference in the early Evos.

Really it depends on what your gonna tune with. If you have an excellent program to tune with that can hand bigger injectors go BIG. That way you wont need to upgrade again. If you plan on staying with this turbo a while and just are gonna use an safc, 650s are plenty, anything around there will be fine.
