GReddy BOV quality?

I believe dejon sold knock off greddy's. So that's probably why they don't sell them anymore.

That's not entirely true. Although they did sell there "own" BOV, they did sell authentic Greddy BOV's also.

I'm sure I have a big role to play in why they don't sell them anymore though. ROFL I returned 2 Greddy type RS's back to Dejon because they were pieces of crap. The metal diaphram wouldn't seal and woud blow open under the lightest pressure.

I never had a problem with my Greddy Type S. I got rid of it and replaced it with a Forge BOV when I got a FMIC.

I bought my type-RS from Dejon a while back and the adjustment screw wriggled loose leaving me with a hole in the top of my bov. I wouldn't buy a type-rs ever again the only thing it has is that it looks good :D and the Dejon knock-off bov they sent me temporarily wasn't as bad as I thought.

ive heard both sides of the story. greddy makes awesome BOV's and then others will say their junk. me personally, ive had no problems with my type S... which im actually selling for a Q with my new fmic :sneaky:

Personally, I don't know why anyone would go with a Greddy BOV, when there are other BOV's out there that have given people 0 problems (HKS- recirculate/ Tial- Another great BOV but can't recirculate)

I've had a GReddy Type-S BOV on my car for a couple years now and its been great. Holds boost fine and doesn't "flutter" like some. I don't have any personal experience with the Type-RS but I've heard some people have had trouble with it.

It seems to me that most of the people that had problems with their GReddy bought it from Dejon. That's intresting.

I've had my Greddy Type S installed in my car for about two and a half years now and it is working fine.

Currently running 19psi on my 30r with an old beat-up retapped greddy type-s and its working perfect. holds boost, no compressor surge. Although I am switching to a blow-thru w/ the new TiAL bov as soon as possible.
