hey everyone, just wondering if my RS49-t turbo will be big enough to make good HP gains with a 2.3L built 6 bolt with 2g head?

Don't waste your money on a 49T. It will crap out on you in less than a month probably. Go with a PTE or even better FP Green if thats the size turbo you are looking for. The best bang for the buck turbo on a 2.3L is the GT30.
or even new?And I'll show you 30 evo3 guys. A certain hp number, power curve, and good driving yield a good track time. A turbo influences the power band and hp number. Nothing else. The HX35 has the same or better hp number and better power band. From what I've seen in track times a GT30 on a 2.3l will hands down outperform a HX in just about all areas (spool, power, etc). Show me one fast guy on a HX and I'll show you 10 on a GT30. I'm not saying the Hx is bad, I'm just saying it seems to be that more people on the average do better w/ the GT.
If he's thinking 50 trim, then a GT30 is even a much better option (better reliability, better spool, better power). Its just better.
