@ work right now just readin some forums and kinda have time to kill.. haha.. anyways i was wondering what numbers people were having with the rs-49t 50 trim.. 1/4 and dyno results.. stock block with bolt ons.. or built.. thanks
 
I would do a search. The RS49T, SBR G50, PTE 5031, BEP 50 trim, etc. have all been discussed to death. Another thing to note that the RS49T and the older SBR G50 shared the same CHRA (turbonetics) hence the T at the end. The RS49 is a differently produced turbo as well.
 
AGP had several flavors of the bolt-on 50-trim over the years:
- Garrett 50-trim CHRA with modified Mitsu 7cm turbine housing (L2)
- Full PTE bolt-on 50-trim (RS49)
- Garrett 50-trim CHRA w/Bullseye turbine housing (RS49)
- Turbonetics 50-trim CHRA w/Bullseye (?) turbine housing (RS49-T)

So basically is just another bolt-on 50-trim so expect the same performance.

I had the first one and ran 12.0 @ 117 on a stock bottom end w/FP2 cams, small FMIC and fuel on 93octane @ 23psi (~360WHP) :dsm:
 
good to see u made 360 on it.. i have the rs49t and i bought it internally gated and took it to the dyno with comp 200s, aem cam gears, dn tublar mani, 550's, FPR, full exhaust, FMIC, magnis SMIM, arp head studs, dsmlink, and a greddy profect b.. on the dyno it was only holding 16 psi due to the flapper not holding boost on the turbo.. but it made 316 whp:thumb:


i recently got rid of the internal gated wastegate and went with a external on the o2.. now im boosting 24psi on a good street tune and it rips!

dyno tune and street tune were both on 93 pump!
 
Yea mine had the O2 mounted Tial. The internal W/G setup was the suck.
Well built turbo though and ended up getting a nice residual value from it when I traded up :)
