C16 or meth? Anyone tried both?

First off I'm sorry if this is in the wrong category and yes I searched first. I found this exact post but there were no responses (probably because the guy couldn't type)
I know very little on tuning, so what's the best choice? Will lower the compression, c16 mixture or meth/water injectors?
Anyway. I was wondering if anyone has tried both C16 and meth injection? I'm pulled between both. A friend of mine swears by C16 because he says that a meth injection is a "bandaid." The only thing that worries me is if for some reason the pump fails mid boost. Then your screwed. Has this ever happened to anyone? But other then that I've heard alot of good things about meth injection. Mainly how cheap it is for the methanol. I'm considering the Devils Own kit. I've heard alot of good things about them. Lemme know what you guys think. My goal will be 25-27psi on a 2.4 running 850s with a G50.

Tuned correctly, Meth injection will make close to the same power as C16. You might want to look into a direct port setup for more equal distribution, and be sure to get correctly sized nozzles. It doesn't help much on a 600whp car if you have a jet sized for a 300whp car. Also get a low level detector, inline filter, and clogged nozzle detector.

So which kit would you recommend that would cover all these things?

I use the alky control unit / system (WWW.ALKYCONTROL.COM) It may not have all of those additional items, but its very effective. It has also proven itself as being reliable for years with those people that have used it. A little maintenance from time to time keeps your nozzles clear, and the pump in good shape.

If you are stuck on a few extras, I think that snow performance or devils own has some more in depth controllers, and extras.

I read through the entire turbo buicks forum a couple of times. Theres a lot of good info on that board, including comparisons of using c16 vs meth and combinations of both.
