Hardwiring turbo timer on a 2g

Okay, i have a used TT that i want to hook up to my car. i understand where most of the wires go and what they do but i am confused on 2 of tehm. namely IG1 and IG2

what wires do i splice thse into under the column? I don't ahve the full harness as i got it from a car in a junkyard that had the wires just cut off about 4 inches from the unit.

it's an HKS old style one

from what i understand i have,

Blue = ACC ( easy )

Grey = E-brake ( not really needed )

REd = 12 volts (duh)

Then i have a yellow and a green of a larger guage. I've searched and found that Green is IG1 and Yellow is IG2

I've only installed TT's by just plugging in the harness they come with ( and i've only ever done 2 in my life besides the function available on standalones )

My question is under the column, how do i hook these up? Is it an IN and OUT "switch" basicly cut into interupt one wire, or are they 2 12volt feeds to be "T" spliced into 2 different wires? and what wires do they go to on a 2g eclipse w/o factory alarm? Colors and location or description of the harness they are in would be all i'd need.

I'm sure i could sit with a volt meter and use trial and error to get it right, but I was hoping some one on here would be able to tell me what to do with them. I"m sitting down to start building a harness with some wire and a soldering iron so hopefully i'll get some info by the time i get that soldered up.
 
Thanks turbosax, but that is for wiring with the harness. My harness is gone. I need to know where to hook IG 1 and IG 2 from teh TT to in the cars harness. Those instructions assume you have the TT's harness and makes no mention of those 2 wires (IG 1 & 2). I had found that page before making my post here.
 
Well, after fiddling with it for a while i came up with a few weird observations but nothing that gives me an idea on how to hook it up since i can't find any proper documentation on making the loom or wiring it without the one i comes with. Nor can i find info on the wires that IG 1 & 2 go to under the dash.

With power to teh red (+12) and to the blue (ACC) and ground to the black, nothing happens.

However when i touch the green wire, IG1 to a +12 source the unit powers on.

While powered on if the ACC is powered up; the yellow wire (IG 2 ) has 0 volts.

When the ACC is unhooked the yellow has +12v.

The only way to get the timer to start counting down is to take the ig1/green wire and touch it to ground ( the IG1 has +12v at all times)

If i apply +12v to teh grey ( parking brake ) wire, teh timer shuts down immediately

If i knew what the workings of all the wires from teh keyswitch were, i might be able to make it work, but i think 'm just going to use teh timer the Haltech can be programed to have

But, I REALLY wanted more blinky lights in the car LOL ...the only reason i wanted to wire a TT in to begin with, but i guess i'm SOL :(

Does anyone have one of these that they could take a picture of teh harness for me to repliccate? It's the old original HKS timer..the one in the link that turbosax provided above.
 
That's the best I got. Why don't you just buy a harness? It's not like they're real expensive...

I haven't checked into buyiung one, that will probably be my next step after getting a few other small things out of the way. Thanks for the pic, i wont ask you to cut back the loom/protective black part, but that's what i would need to see under.

If I still had the tt I would cut open the loom and take pictures for you. It was sold a few months ago though.
