I have the slowboy g50 turbo and was installing the oil return. On the pan side where u bold one of the fittings to the pan. One bolt hole is stripped cuasing an oil leak. I was wondering what the best way to fix this is so it will stop leaking.

does anyone know what tap i should use
Bring the bolt with you to the hardware store, I believe it's M6 x 1.00 but it's been a while so I'm not 100% sure.

Try chasing the threads with the same size tap first, if that doesn't work, remove the pan and retap for m8 x 1.25.

I thought it was M6x1.25
Like I said, I'm not 100% sure, he should still bring the bolt to the store.

Read your service manual. For 1G's, we have to remove one of the cross members as well as the transfer case.

Those who've stripped the return flange capscrews usually go to 1/4-20 threads and bolts. If you use grease on the tap and take short cuts, the grease will trap all the chips.
